On Friday, the 5th of September 2024, the leadership of Ife Development Board, IDB, represented by the executive secretary, Mr. Lawrence Omidiora visited the ongoing Ajilesoro Foundation project within Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital Complex (OAUTHC) for proper assessment of the project beyond news of its existence.

The tour featured the leadership of the Foundation and representatives of the hospital’s management. Since commencement of the construction work of the gigantic edifice – Accident and Emergency/Male and Female Surgical Wards, the IDB, the apex body in the community has not officially inspected the the project, thus, the reasons for the inspection.

The visit, according to the secretary, was to have a perfect understanding of the state of the project and to brief appropriate quarters.The secretary gave the assurance that those who represent the Ife community as a whole will equally accord the project the necessary attention and support it deserves.
