OBALUFON DESCENDANTS REJOICE AS AJILESORO FOUNDATION BRINGS HOME SUCCOUR
In what looks like a festival, where brothers come together to feast. Ajilesoro Foundation, an organization chaired by one of the illustrious sons of Obalufon descendants, gathered all traceable and identifiable Obalufon lineage and in-laws at their family compound, Edun-Ide, Obalufon Street, Ile – Ife, Osun State and empowered them each with a token to assist in their businesses and trades. The two-day programme began on Monday 11th and ended Tuesday 12th December 2023.
The event, which featured 483 (four hundred and eighty three) participants, comprised all the aged and adults, including those in schools, who had earlier picked and submitted a biodata form for ease of capturing and identity assessment.
The empowerment programme, could be described proverbially as granting the goose that laid the golden eggs access to its products. The leadership of the Foundation had, in their wisdom, designed the plan to basically focus on family members who have been hearing of the many wonders the Foundation has been performing locally and internationally.
The famous Yoruba proverbs “ Ile lati nko oso rode”.That charity begins at home could be said to be a driving force .
At the event, the beneficiaries in emotional presentations expressed gratitude and offered prayers to the stakeholders of Ajilesoro Foundation. They described the event as unprecedented in history. The timing, considering the current economic situations and the preparation for the yuletide period, equally moved many to tears.
With this another mind-blowing empowerment programme, coming at a time like this when an edifice – Accident and Emergency/Male and Female Surgical Wards is still under construction, whose completion is now in sight, one can therefore wish that more of selfless patriots like Ajilesoro Foundation pilots multiply for the betterment of mankind.
